The bistro at the Europa Palace in Sanremo has been completely reimagined by Studio q-bic in Florence, with a concept that seamlessly blends elegance and functionality through premium materials and bespoke furnishings.
At the heart of the space is the bar counter, clad in Grigio Alpi stone and enhanced by an ash-olive bar ledge, creating a sophisticated contrast of textures. Above, a striking decorative bottle rack in thick-gauge metal, finished in a brass-like lacquer, wraps around a mirrored column, adding depth and character to the setting. The layout has been carefully designed to promote both comfort and conviviality. A long perimeter bench interacts with the central curved bench, defining different seating areas and fostering a warm, dynamic atmosphere. The tables, available in both rectangular and circular versions, feature a painted metal structure that echoes the metallic details of the bar counter, while the ash-olive tabletop adds a sense of warmth to the environment.
In the bistro’s restrooms, the design follows the same material language, with full-wall vanity units in painted steel, decorative mirrors, and a striking ceiling of glossy, corrugated metal sheets that creates a dramatic three-dimensional effect. The private dining area stands out with a statement table featuring a raw steel-finished metal structure and an ash-olive top, positioned next to an eye-catching refrigerated wine display, designed to elevate the gastronomic experience.
A project that harmoniously combines design, functionality, and hospitality, perfectly complementing the timeless charm of the Riviera.
