As part of the refurbishment of the Royal Garden Hotel in Assago, curated by Nick Maltese Studio, Hi Contract supplied and installed custom-made furnishings for 21 rooms, seamlessly blending aesthetics and functionality to offer guests a refined and comfortable stay.
The rooms were designed as serene spaces where every element contributes to an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility. The design optimizes surfaces and volumes, ensuring fluidity in movement and a sense of visual lightness. The color palette features soft, neutral tones, while the carefully crafted furnishings enhance both comfort and well-being.
Hi Contract custom-built the walk-in wardrobes, equipped with a hanging space, luggage rack, open shelves, and a minibar compartment, offering practical and functional solutions. The bed headboards, featuring channeled upholstery with quilted fabric, add a touch of sophisticated hospitality, while the backlit wood paneling behind the beds creates a warm and elegant ambiance. Each room is further enhanced by decorative mirrors with integrated lighting, amplifying the brightness of the space. The selected curtains delicately filter natural light, fostering a soft and intimate atmosphere. The harmonious textures and color tones perfectly align with the overall interior concept, ensuring privacy without overwhelming the environment.
Although Hi Contract’s contribution focused exclusively on the guest rooms, the hotel’s refurbishment extended to the common areas, which were renewed with premium materials such as metal, stone, and terracotta. Modern geometric designs and large windows establish a direct connection with the outdoors, seamlessly integrating the structure with the surrounding greenery. Sustainability was also a key consideration, with the installation of a photovoltaic park aimed at reducing the hotel’s environmental impact.
