Located at 192 Piccadilly Road, the new Luca Faloni store in London embodies a refined balance between British heritage and contemporary Italian design. The store’s interior, designed by PlaC Studio and brought to life by Hi Contract, reinterprets the brand’s discreet elegance through an architectural lens — where every detail speaks of craftsmanship and design precision.
The store welcomes visitors with a traditional London-style storefront and a full-height LED wall introducing the brand’s identity. Inside, a modular wall system defines the space, featuring brushed stainless-steel paneling framed by Canaletto walnut profiles and gold-lacquered electrified uprights, allowing for a flexible display configuration. Shelves and drawers in Canaletto walnut, with 1 cm Carrara marble tops and 5×5 mm beveled edges, convey a sense of light and contemporary elegance, while custom-designed golden metal hanging bars ensure a refined, luminous display. At the heart of the store, a cash desk in Canaletto walnut with an Arabescato marble top and a front panel clad in Marazzi tiles becomes the focal point of the space.
The central island, crafted in fluted Canaletto walnut, seamlessly integrates with a tiled column and incorporates a LED-lit hanging bar, combining aesthetics and functionality. The fitting rooms are enclosed by a self-supporting curved walnut wall with three arched entrances, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere. Along the perimeter of the four display windows, a multifunctional platform merges display and storage elements in a soft, material composition alternating Canaletto walnut, Carrara marble, and green inserts, echoing the tiles of the cash desk and wall surfaces. The custom-cut marble follows the original architectural geometry with precision — a testament to the tailor-made approach that defines every Hi Contract project.
The two entrance windows are conceived as dual display spaces — both interior and exterior — framed by powder-coated metal structures and fluted laminated glass, designed to enhance product visibility and capture the attention of passersby.
A project that seamlessly blends technique and style, functionality and brand identity, transforming the store into an immersive experience where Italian craftsmanship and design meet London’s timeless elegance.
