This store is part of a wider re-thinking of Luca Faloni’s boutiques worldwide. Alongside this store, the team worked on other openings such as Miami, London, Paris, Munich and Milan. Each location is distinguished by finishes, colors, and details inspired by their surroundings, and for this reason, the Zurich boutique incorporates elements that pay homage to the city’s natural and architectural beauty. The columns are clad in green onyx, reflecting the hues of Lake Zurich, while the walls are covered with concrete and wood panels, evoking the atmosphere of old workshops.
One of the boutique’s most innovative features is the cash desk with a hidden pivot system, allowing the counter to rotate and free up space for the elevator and access to the back rooms when needed, ensuring functionality and a clean aesthetic. This ingenious design, along with the use of high-quality materials, represents an example of careful integration of local elements, offering a luxurious shopping experience deeply connected to its context.
The display area is also characterized by boiserie made of natural milled Viroc® panels and Canaletto walnut wood, enriched with gold-painted metal details and touches of red paint, which complement the oak flooring to create a warm and welcoming environment. The boiserie integrates a metal rack system that allows for flexible organization of the display space. The setup is completed by shelves with LED lighting, horizontal and vertical drawer units, suspended sideboards, and gold-painted metal hanging rails, all equipped with LED lighting. These furnishings are made of vertically-grained Canaletto walnut wood, with rounded front corners and 10 mm Carrara marble tops with 5×5 beveled edges.
At the center of the store, both on the ground floor and the first floor, two walnut display islands with Carrara marble tops, supported by elegantly designed metal legs, surround the green onyx-clad pillars, adding a distinctive and refined touch. Completing the setting is a spiral staircase made of metalwork covered in salmon-colored resin, leading to the upper floor, adding an additional element of style to the entire space.
