The new Guess store enjoys a highly visible location in Bellagio, on Lake Como, directly facing the ferry landing from Varenna and Menaggio. Within a 35 sqm space, the project succeeds in creating a recognizable and coherent atmosphere, the result of a process managed by Hi Contract through every phase, from the initial concept to final execution.
The project draws inspiration from the lake setting and, in particular, from the aesthetic language of Lake Como’s leisure boats. The selected materials reflect this identity with consistency: glossy lacquered teak, satin steel and peach-toned marmorino finish. A raised floral graphic runs across the wall panels, introducing a decorative note that balances the solidity of the other elements.
The displays for bags, fragrances and eyewear all follow the same construction principle: wall panels in embossed printed MDF with marmorino finish, glossy lacquered teak shelves and integrated LED lighting. The tables and cash desk share the same material approach, with teak structures and tops in satin steel-finish laminate. The back wall features the illuminated logo in polished stainless steel, alongside an application of preserved greenery that brings a direct reference to the landscape outside the storefront into the interior.
The flooring plays with a refined two-tone combination of Calacatta Dorato and Alpi Chiaro Venato, laid directly over the existing floor. In the fitting room, a natural coconut-fiber carpet was chosen to introduce a warmer and more understated texture. The existing external windows were regenerated with new graphics and LED lighting.
