The new permanent showroom of the Casamance Group has opened at Via Brera 28/A, with entrance on the corner of Via Fiori Oscuri. The space brings together four fabric and wallcovering brands under one address: Casamance, Misia, Issé and Camengo.
The project was managed by Hi Contract on a turnkey basis, ensuring full coordination across the different stages of the site and meeting a demanding constraint: opening in around sixty days, in time for the Salone del Mobile. The intervention covered the space in its entirety: new flooring, an air conditioning system, upgrades to bring the electrical system and the staircase leading to the mezzanine up to standard, structural reinforcement of the mezzanine, painting works, installation of the wallpaper supplied by the client, restoration of the shopfront window frames, illuminated exterior signage and interior lighting calibrated for the different display areas.
Each piece of furniture was designed around the material it would display, taking into account specific characteristics such as weight. The most distinctive solution is the wall with eighteen rotating panels, designed to display thirty-six types of wallpaper simultaneously within a compact space. The floor features herringbone parquet, with oak-effect laminate and Canaletto walnut-effect laminate. Bright Bronze C32 painted iron defines the metal elements of the furniture and the skirting, while the counters feature Botticino marble tops. Lighting is provided by track systems with adjustable spotlights and different beam angles.
The result is a functional and coherent space, designed to enhance the brands it hosts.
